Dental Heath and your pets needs.

Just like us, animals needs dentals attention too. They are prone to tooth decay and gum disease just like humans. It is highly recommended to have your pets teeth examined yearly & have a dental prophy performed when called for. Brushing your pets teeth can help reduce the frequency of teeth cleaning as well as proper diet and chews.

Unlike humans, animals do need to be put under anesthesia for such a procedure. See below for reasons as to why.

1. Patient will not hold still.

2. Risk of operator injury from being bitten is significant.

3. Inability to completely instrument the patient.

4. Inability to completely examine patient.
