Dogs are usually considered geriatric/seniors at around 8 years old, cats around 10 years of age. As your pet ages, we also recommend bloodwork on a yearly basis. This is called a wellness panel. It can give great detail on just how well certain vital organs are functioning. Urine and fecal should be tested as well.
